Stephen White, from Ken White Developments, was the 1,000th person to attend a Plumb Center training course and got to meet Channel 4’s celebrity architect. Stephen was presented with a magnum of bubbly, 1000 eXtra points and a signed book at the opening of Plumb Center’s Practical Installer Arena. Plumb Center’s partnership with Sevenoaks Energy Academy allows them to offer customers a range of courses on important industry technologies and initiatives, including solar thermal, biomass and the Green Deal. Each course gives installers the knowledge and qualifications to expand their business and stay ahead of the game. Stephen attended the two-day BPEC Heat Pump Installer course which combines practical and theoretical tuition on the successful installation and commissioning of ground and air source heat pumps. “Sevenoaks academy is a great place to go,” said Stephen. “They’re really helpful and the training is very good. I signed up because of a job I was doing. They wanted to put a heat pump in and we like to keep things in house, so it was good time to do it.” Stephen also received 1000 eXtra points – Plumb Center’s loyalty points – which he can trade in for rewards like exclusive deals on training, special events and trips, or credit on his trade account. “We’re keen to give installers an edge on their competitors and help them get the most business they can,” said Simon Allan, Plumb Center’s Renewables Director. “We’re proud of our partnership with Sevenoaks Energy Academy and our courses, which teach installers everything they need to know about renewable energy systems.” For details of Plumb Center’s renewable training courses, visit www.plumbcenter.co.uk Share ! tweet
