Incorrectly installed valves in toilet cisterns can allow the stored water being siphoned back into the drinking water supply

    OK, as installers we are aware of the need for air gaps, but under what circumstance did the ball valve siphon the water out of the cistern, at the end of the day you have water in the cistern that is under gravity pressure and the ball valve is under high mains pressure, it is not explained in the video what caused a drop in the mains pressure that would allow water under gravity to be siphoned into the ball valve
