WATCH: PB Plumber asks "isn't gas safe enough?"

Some installers online have been vocal in their opposition to the launch of the new Capita Gas Compliance Services (CGCS) gas safety certification scheme.
The CGCS is a voluntary scheme aimed at installers who who want to go ‘above and beyond’ with their gas safety work. It’s the only one of its kind accredited by UKAS (The United Kingdom Accreditation Service), and the idea is that is can help show installers work to best practice, and put themselves ahead of the competition.

But some are worried it will create a “two-tier” system, where some can claim to be more “Gas Safe” than others.
