APHC to offer renewable technology awareness course

APHC Ltd. announced it will begin to offer the BPEC Renewable Technology Awareness Course at its Solihull office from April 2013.
The course is aimed at installers, specifiers and anyone who finds themselves advising customers, who want to know more about renewable energy technologies.
The course will give all attendees an understanding of the benefits renewable technologies bring and how all the technologies work together enabling the attendee to fully inform their customers.
The course is built on a modular basis starting with an introduction which explains why we need to consider renewable energy systems within our homes. It then continues with further modules looking at each technology and considering what each is capable of, how it works and what the potential financial benefits and payback period are likely to be.
Graeme Dryden, APHC Technical Manager commented:
“More and more customers are asking their installers about renewable technologies and the options available to them. In answer to this demand we have introduced this course which will give installers all the information they need to know enabling them to have an informed conversation with their customers.”
The training course is designed with a home study web-based element, then one day attendance at APHC for further training and consolidation, followed by assessment.
The course will cost (£175 for APHC members (£225 for non-members). It is important that candidates have access to the internet to complete the web-based training element prior to the course. For more details or to book a place please contact the training department on 0121 711 5030 or email: training@aphc.co.uk. Don’t forget to also ask us about the £100 training grant towards the cost.
