APHC welcome EU consultation

The European Commission is calling upon Small and Medium businesses to help identify the top ten EU Legislative acts considered to be the most burdensome from them in a new consultation launched last week.
The consultation will run until the 21st December and once complete the commission will analyse the results and consider how the situation for SMEs can be improved. Some example areas for consideration include, Employment & Social Affairs, Energy, Environment and Taxation.
Esther Harries, APHC Commercial Manager said: “It is good news that the European Commission have recognised the burden often placed on SMEs and are acting to correct this situation. I would urge any interested members to have their say via the link below before the closing date.”

This consultation forms part of a larger project “Think Small First” aimed at simplifying the regulatory and administration environment SMEs are operating in by designing rules according to this principle.
