ATAG launches new 14-year warranty

ATAG has launched a 14-year warranty on their range of high end domestic boilers, as part of an ongoing commitment to produce technologically advanced heating equipment that’s built to last.

The direct to installer distribution model has seen a surge in online sales during lockdown as engineers cut out the risks of visiting a merchant to buy equipment, satisfying their customers’ needs and mitigating risk all-round, a unique selling point that no other Boiler Manufacturer can offer.

ATAG scientists in the Netherlands have identified that by ensuring only high-end filters and water treatment packs are used in the installation of the boiler, the life of their range of advanced technological boilers can be greatly extended.

The new 14 year warranty includes both parts and labour when annual servicing is completed by an ATAG Service Provider (ASP), a registered Gas Safe engineer that’s been trained by ATAG on how to fit ATAG products. This demonstrates the manufacturers’ ongoing commitment to creating a pipeline of work for every ASP that is part of their network.

To unlock the extended warranty on Europe’s most efficient boilers, ASPs need to bolt on additional equipment packages when they purchase direct.

An ATAG boiler has a 10 year warranty as standard. The additional packages are:

  • ATAG boiler + Adey Atom Filter = 11 year warranty
  • ATAG boiler + Adey Atom Filter + Water Treatment Pack (WTP) = 12 year warranty
  • ATAG boiler + Adey Atom Filter + Water Treatment Pack + One Zone controller = 14 year warranty

David Stolton – ATAG’s new sales director – said: “Our new 14-year warranty means that the homeowners can take confidence in knowing their boiler is built to last and our ASPs benefit from an even longer relationship with customers, giving them an increased sales platform.

“Our direct supply model also provides valuable reassurance in these uncertain times, product is shipped direct to their customer front doors providing installers a streamlined solution, reassuring customers and engineers who have safety concerns about visiting merchants or product contamination.

“And because a customer will never be able to buy the product direct, engineers are able to put together a quote where margins are protected.”

The launch comes as ATAG continues to expand its community of ATAG Select Partners and it follows an increase in direct sales of ATAG boilers to homeowners through the online platform.

ATAG boilers are designed by engineers for engineers and only sold to Gas Safe registered installers so they are all professionally installed and the brand retains its safety values.
