Over the past 18 months, Bristan has spent more than £500,000 in creating its own state-of-the-art in-house test laboratory to ensure all products continue to meet guideline and legal requirements, as well as third-party certifications. Better yet, in an industry first, the UKAS 17025 facility has even been approved to test products for submission to WRAS to gain product certification, demonstrating Bristan commitment to consumer safety and safer drinking water for the UK. Moreover, Bristan has spent an additional £600,000 over the past two years specifically on WRAS and TMV 2 & 3 approvals for products to ensure they meet and even exceed the highest standards of safety and engineering excellence. All activity has been further supported by continued investment in staff training on all areas of legal responsibility and accreditations. Simon Mepsted, quality manager at Bristan said: “Here at Bristan, we are fully committed to ensuring we remain the number one supplier for approved and compliant products in the UK. “As part of this, we have invested heavily over the last couple of years in order to develop our state-of-the-art testing facility, as well as the training resource to support it. As a result, we are able to conduct our own in-house testing to ensure each product is not just fully compliant but boasts the absolute highest level of product excellence. “This is part of an ongoing investment programme to ensure we deliver the absolute best in quality control.” For more information on Bristan please visit www.bristan.com Share ! tweet
