Climate Energy gains Green Deal authorisation

Climate Energy, one of the UK’s carbon reduction groups, has now received authorisation from Ed Davey, Secretary of State, to act as a Green Deal Provider for both domestic and non-domestic Green Deal work.
Climate Energy will now be added to the Register of Green Deal Providers in accordance with Regulation Eight of the Green Deal Framework Regulations 2012.
In response to this announcement, Garry Worthington, Head of Green Deal at Climate Energy, says:
“We are incredibly proud to have been approved as a Green Deal Provider, and this news adds even more impetus to our drive for growth and to maintain our position as one of the UK’s market leaders for energy efficiency solutions.
“We have been working hard to achieve this status over the past six months and we are now well advanced in our operational infrastructure to manage and deliver Green Deal schemes.  Over the past few years we have helped hundreds of local authorities and housing providers as well as thousands of homeowners to improve the energy efficiency of their properties, and this approval from Ed Davey will allow us to continue to do this, cutting fuel bills and reducing carbon emissions.”
