Energy storage system supplier GivEnergy confirmed to have entered administration

It has been confirmed that residential energy storage system supplier GivEnergy Ltd has entered administration.

We reported last week that GivEnergy appeared to be on the verge of administration, however a statement from the administrators has confirmed this to be true.

The Energy Storage Association (ESA) has today published an official statement from Mark Barlow, Senior Case Administrator at CB Business Recovery on its website. The ESA says it will continue to engage with DESNZ on the issue to offer our support and input to the process.

The statement says that GivEnergy Ltd entered administration on 9 April 2026 with Chris Brooksbank of CB Business Recovery appointed as Administrator. The company has now ceased to trade and all its employees have been made redundant.

With the company ceasing operation, the administrators have confirmed that no further hardware warranties will be honoured by GivEnergy Ltd. In the first instance, all consumers are advised to revert to their installer for support. For all other consumer enquiries, the advice is to email [email protected].
