During December APHC are hosting three half day seminars covering all things Green Deal, Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and changes to Competent Person Schemes(CPS) from the installer perspective.
The free seminars, delivered in partnership with QMSA, aim to give installers impartial information and advice on what they need to do as a business to make an informed choice about whether the Green Deal, MCS and CPS schemes are right for them or not. The first three seminars are open to non members as well as existing members and are free of charge. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, with more dates being announced soon for 2013.
The dates for the first seminars are:
- Bradford 5th December 8:30am – 11am
- St Albans 12th December 8:30am – 11am
- Birmingham 14th December 8:30am – 11am
Graeme Dryden, APHC Technical Services Manager said: “There is so much confusion amongst installers about what is involved to take part in the Green Deal, MCS and CPS. Many other organisations are talking about the training and competence aspect, although very important, it is a small part of the picture.
Our seminars aim to give installers advice and information about the changes they must implement to their businesses in order to take part in the Green Deal, MCS and CP schemes. From this, they can make an informed decision about taking forward certification and understanding the requirements they must have operating in their business.
