Ten talented apprentices are celebrating after making it through the final in this year’s Screwfix Trade Apprentice competition.
Each of the finalists fought off strong competition from more than 3,000 applicants from across the UK and Ireland to secure a coveted place in the national final and the chance to take home a career-boosting prize bundle of tools, training and technology worth £10,000.
The two-day final will take place at Google HQ in London on 29-30 April, where the top 10 will take part in workshops, networking sessions and a face-to-face interview with an expert judging panel.
The panel includes representatives from Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering, National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting, Federation of Master Builders, and Martin Daly – Screwfix Top Tradesperson 2025.
Here’s this year’s final 10:
- Ashton Bull, (19) is studying an electrical apprenticeship at JTL Ashford
- Emma Scott, (23) is an apprentice carpenter from Co Monaghan
- Cary Rudd, (20) is studying a City and Guilds qualification in Plumbing and Heating at Salford City Skills
- Adam Doran (25) is an apprentice wood manufacturer and finisher from Cork
- Nathan Sheridan, (19) is studying a Level 3 Electrical course at Gateshead Construction
- Rhys Mitchell, (21) is currently studying joinery at Cardonald College
- Ruby-Renee Voss, (19) is studying a Level 3 Electrical Course at Leicester College
- Gracie Donaghy, (22) is studying Level 3 Electrical Installation at Weston College
- Kellie Cullen (19) is an apprentice electrician from Co Kildare
- Petra O’Flaherty (26) is studying stone masonry and stone cutting at Kerry College
