Gameweek 22

InstallerLEAGUE Final standings

Samuel Eto’o waited until this game week to show the real worth of his abilities. Scoring his first Premiership hat-trick against rivals Manchester United makes Moyes’s hopes of winning the title all but extinguished. Chelsea’s win puts them one point behind second place Manchester City, who made easy work of Cardiff City despite a tough opening half an hour.
Arsenal’s impressive form continues and the Spaniard Cazorla chose to end his eleven fixture goal drought by slotting in two at home to Fulham to make sure they hold pole position. Tony Pulis managed to leave his old club feeling red faced after the Welshman managed to guide his London side to a one nil win at Selhurst Park to give them a two point gap from the drop zone.
Suarez was again at the centre of another controversial decision after he managed to win a ‘soft’ penalty against Villa. Captain Gerrard comfortably converted the opportunity to salvage a point for the red men. Tim Sherwood was once again rewarded for his belief in Adebayor as the Togolese international grabbed two goals at the Liberty Stadium. Combined with a Chico own goal to give Spurs the three points they find themselves on the same points as Liverpool.
However game week 23 invites a couple of mouth watering fixtures indeed. Spurs will host in form Manchester City who haven’t lost in five away fixtures and we will also see the Merseyside derby take place. Liverpool who haven’t lost in eight home league games will entertain an Everton side who haven’t lost any of their last six away fixtures.
