Gameweek 25

InstallerLEAGUE Final standings

With the dust still settling after the massacre at Anfield the next gameweek is already upon us with a range of midweek games to keep our withdrawal symptoms at bay. Liverpool hosted the league leaders in the early kick off with a game that everyone thought would produce just the 1-0 win to either side. However Liverpool fans found themselves in the most unlikely of scenarios in the opening 20 minutes. Four goals to the reds of Merseyside made tearful reading and watching for Arsenal fans around the world. After a consolation from Arsenal the game ended in a 5-1 drubbing of the North London title contenders. Liverpool continue to impress, especially with their home record. Brendon Rodgers seems to have unearthed a winning formula that looks set to take Liverpool back into the coveted Champions League.
We seem to be getting slightly bored here with United’s antics. Another poor game for Moyes brings more misery as they can only claim a point at home to the basement boys Fulham. At the other end of the table Chelsea’s man of the moment Hazard teared apart a reeling Newcastle side who recently lost their Director of Football, whether there’s direct correlation to their performance we are yet to figure out. Spurs snatched 3 points with a 1-0 win against Everton as they continue their quest for a Champions League spot. An impressive display from Ruddy at Norwich managed to earn them a well deserved point against Man City who despite all efforts couldn’t find the back of the net at Carrow Road.
This week all eyes are on the Emirates as Arsenal host Manchester United in what looks set to be an explosive fixture for the Premier League.
