Gameweek 28-29

InstallerLEAGUE Final standings

Gameweek 28 produced some big results for the away sides, apart from Arsenal. The Gunners were victims to a one nil defeat at the hands of Stoke City which denied them a chance to close the gap at the top of the table. Especially when the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs all secured victories to tighten up the race for not only the Champions League but even the title. It was a good result for Villa at home to Norwich. Benteke looks like he could be closing in on the fine form that got him noticed at the beginning of the season. Talking of strikers getting back to old ways, Lukaku popped up with the only goal for Everton to give them three points over West Ham.
Gameweek 29 lifted the mounting pressure off David Moyes for atleast a week after they bagged three goals in against West Brom. Chelsea took a strong stance at the top of the league after thrashing Spurs in the London derby. Demba Ba who had only scored one goal before this game back at the beginning of December waited until this week to pop up and net two against their city rivals. This weekend all Premier League teams are back in action and what a super Sunday of fixtures it is. In form Liverpool will travel to Old Trafford to prove they are worthy of progressing higher in the league followed by the North London  Derby, Spurs v Arsenal.
