It’s been a exciting few weeks in the Premier League recently. With the race for the title getting closer and closer this could be a finish that will grip the world. Liverpool are looking more like champions every week, especially after trouncing a lacklustre United side at Old Trafford three nil. This was definitely a message to everyone else stating the intentions of Brendon Rodgers and co. Liverpool remain unbeaten in 2014 and if other results go their way and they continue in this fine form they might just find themselves in a very delightful position.
Arsenal were too busy enjoying their derby win over Spurs they forgot to prepare for Chelsea away. In a fixture that was bound to produce fireworks actually produced much more. Six goals in total and all from Chelsea. The blues brushed Arsenal aside as if they were a lower league side clutching to professional club status. Mix that with a dodgy refereeing decision and a comical own goal made this a month to forgot for Wenger and maybe to forgot their title hopes altogether.
Manchester City continue to do their best to steam roll over anyone who opposes their title contention. Netting ten goals in three games is giving City the wind in their sails to help propel them to pole position. Their Manchester rivals however are struggling and more calls for Moyes head is reaching fever pitch. Everton on the other hand are looking like quiet underdogs slipping under the radar with the opportunity of sniffing out Champions League football.
