Which? has announced Wow Energy as winner of the Renewables Installer of the Year category at its prestigious annual awards ceremony.
Wow Energy, based in Macclesfield, wins for directly tackling industry confusion and system under-performance by implementing a consultation model tailored strictly to a home’s actual energy usage rather than maximum capacity. The judges notes that: “Wow Energy’s commitment to ongoing consumer care is evidenced by a mandatory, complimentary energy optimisation session post-installation to help households maximise their long-term savings”.
The Renewable Installers category celebrates Which’s Trusted Traders that provide green energy solutions for homes and businesses. This award recognises installers who are providing customers with the knowledge and services to support those who want to reduce their carbon footprint, often via retrofitting their homes or offices as a way to reduce emissions.
With over 30 years experience in the environmental and renewable energy sectors, Wow Energy supplies and installs a range of renewable energy systems including solar panels, battery storage systems, wind turbines, EV chargers and solar hot water systems.
The Which? Awards span 13 categories, from home appliances to electric vehicles, with Which?’s expert judges whittling down top picks of brands going above and beyond for consumers. The coveted accolade is awarded as recognition of a brand’s dedication to providing outstanding products and services for consumers. The winners were announced at a ceremony at the Science Museum in London on 14th May, hosted by Sue Perkins.
Like the consumer champion’s product testing and research, the Which? Awards are completely independent, Which? says. Winners are decided by a rigorous set of criteria including brand performance in Which? testing and surveys, reliability, and results from investigations.
