Finding the best tap for a washbasin – or vice versa – is not always easy, given that the choice of available products is huge. Following on from the launch of BestMatch last year, GROHE has now upgraded both the website and the app and has included an additional washbasin manufacturer: HEWI. A fresh layout makes website and app navigation even more intuitive and easy to use. As before, users can start their search either from a specific GROHE tap or from a particular washbasin type; the updated version also allows starting from a basin brand. After a few clicks for specification, the best combinations are shown with a photo and a rating from one to three stars in the categories “design”, “comfort” and “water delivery”. The user immediately knows whether the basin and the tap are a good visual match, the space requirements and whether water will splash when opening the tap or washing your hands. Due to the life-like images of the combinations, users can see for themselves whether the products go well together and will blend in aesthetically with their existing bathroom. Once the preferred GROHE BestMatch combination has been found, the data is conveniently summarised on a compact A4 page for easy storage, print-out or for sharing by e-mail. This facilitates an easy communication between the customer and the installer. Bathroom planners and showroom staff can shortlist the best combinations so that the customer can make the final selection. On the other hand, it is also possible for customers to choose their personal favourites at home, print them and later discuss them later on with their installer. New cooperation partner offers accessible washbasins The upgraded GROHE BestMatch configurator has been enhanced with the addition of a new partner, the HEWI washbasin brand, which joins existing BestMatch partners Alape, Burgbad, Duravit, Keramag, Laufen and Villeroy & Boch. Hewi brings an important new offering to the search options, a range of accessible washbasins, which are particularly suitable for elderly people and people with special requirements. GROHE’s BestMatch is an internationally popular bathroom design tool. GROHE has tested and critically assessed more than 3,500 possible washbasin and tap combinations in its lab – and is continually assessing more.
