Mark Rolfe explains the recent updates made by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L56 and how they will affect gas engineers.
The ACOP and guidance notes that support the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 – covering safety in the installation and use of gas systems and appliances – have been updated following extensive consultations in June 2012 and May 2013.
