Vaillant has revealed its all-new aroTHERM plus – the latest evolution of its flagship R290 air source heat pump which it says sets a new benchmark in performance, flexibility and design.
Continuing to advance the heat pump market by delivering a reimagined solution that addresses the varied needs of UK homes and professional installers, the new aroTHERM plus represents a significant leap forward from its already popular predecessor.
As a leader in heat pump technology, Vaillant has listened to installer feedback and homeowner demands to create a model that doesn’t just improve on the original – it helps redefine the possibilities for the category.

Improved performance – improvements to the aroTHERM plus sees the new range take heat pump efficiency levels even further, offering CoP figures of up to 5.39.
Quiet operation – the new aroTHERM plus includes Vaillant’s Sound Safe System, resulting in an improved sound performance from 44 db(A) for this next gen model – making it ideal for residential installations.
Flexible safety function – providing greater install flexibility for the aroTHERM plus range, the new model features an advanced flexible safety function that, when activated, allows installation almost anywhere around the property – breaking free from the fixed space requirements of the previous generation and delivering installation flexibility and convenience for installers. Benefitting homeowners, this helps make the most of their outdoor space and gives more options for the heat pump to be fitted in a location that works for them.
New anthracite colourway – designed for contemporary homes, the sophisticated anthracite finish ensures the aroTHERM plus seamlessly integrates with modern property aesthetics, elevating kerb appeal while delivering premium performance.
Premium interface with semi-touchscreen control – the new interface features an intuitive semi-touch display, giving homeowners and installers premium control over their heating system.
Rewards and guarantee – when registered through myREWARDS, Vaillant’s loyalty platform, the new aroTHERM plus comes with up to 7-year guarantee when fitted with a Vaillant uniSTOR high recovery cylinder – providing installers and homeowners with peace of mind.
