Zuno.store is live – it’s an online merchant, delivering material requirements as well as complete installation packs directly to engineers’ job sites or a site of their choice.
The store comes form Zuno, the all-in-one app for heating, cooling and renewable energy installers and it enables installers to order material as well as fully bundled product packs for installations of boilers, solar, battery, heat pump, air conditioning units and EV chargers. Installer packs contain all of the core components required for the job, and can be customised to meet the installer’s requirements for the job, simplifying the process of sourcing parts from multiple suppliers.
Orders placed before 3pm are delivered the next morning nationwide to the installer’s choice of address, allowing engineers to arrive on site ready to start the job.
For many installers, a typical working day still begins with a trip to a merchant counter to collect parts. Engineers often face queues, missing stock or repeat journeys when something essential has been overlooked. These delays add up across the year, reducing time available for installations and billable work.
Zuno estimates engineers could reclaim up to 29 working days per year currently spent sourcing materials, equivalent to around 4.5 hours per week, potentially increasing annual earnings by up to £10,000 on lost hours.
The store has been designed to remove that friction by enabling engineers to order their required materials or complete, ready-to-install packs online and have them delivered directly to site or their preferred address.
The store launches with curated installation packs covering:
-
Boilers [including Worcester Bosch and Ideal]
-
Solar and batteries [including Sunsynk and Tesla]
-
Air conditioning systems [including Bosch]
-
EV chargers [including Masterplug]
-
Heat pumps [including Ideal and Vaillant]
Each pack contains all required components and is assembled by specialist industry experienced pickers, helping ensure engineers receive the correct materials for the job first time.
Zuno.store forms part of the wider Zuno platform, the smarter way to work for heating, cooling and renewable energy installers, which connects engineers with installation jobs and the materials needed to complete them.
Through the app, installers can access installation opportunities from both E.ON Next and BOXT, joining a nationwide network of more than 17,000 registered engineers who are delivering home energy upgrades across the UK.
In an industry first, by bringing together installation work and materials in the same platform, Zuno removes the need for engineers to find work and source parts separately. The combination is unique in the sector and is designed to simplify how installers plan and deliver jobs.
Mel Butler, CEO of Zuno and a former boiler engineer, said: “When I was working as an installer, the day often started with a trip to the merchant. You’d drive across town, queue at the counter and hope they had the parts you needed before you could even begin the job. If something was missing, it meant another journey and more lost time.
The reality is that engineers don’t get paid to sit in traffic, stand at trade counters or chase deliveries. They get paid for their skills and expertise on site. Yet too much of the working week is still spent on tasks that add little value and take them away from the job they’re there to do.
Zuno.store is designed to remove that friction by delivering complete installation packs directly to site the next morning, so engineers can spend more time on the tools.”
Butler added: “What makes Zuno different is that engineers can order all the materials they need for their own installation work, and if they are looking for additional work, they can access jobs from leading brands such as E.ON Next and BOXT, without leaving the Zuno app.”
For too long, the industry has been built around suppliers, systems and processes, rather than the engineers doing the work on the ground. We wanted to flip that around and build something that genuinely puts engineers first, helping them spend less time on admin and more time doing what they do best.”

Nathan Morrison, Head of Digital Supply and Engineer Platform at Zuno, added: “With Zuno.store we’ve focused on making installations easier to prepare for. Engineers can order a complete installation pack through the app and have it delivered directly to site, their customer’s home, or any address of their choice the next morning, so when they arrive at the job, they have everything they need. We work directly with the industry’s leading manufacturers to ensure we always have stock in our distribution centre.”
Morrison concluded: “We’ve deliberately focused on bundled installation packs rather than trying to replicate the entire merchant model. The strength of the platform is speed and convenience, giving engineers the exact products they need for the job in one delivery.”
Zuno.store forms part of the wider Zuno platform, which brings together installation work, materials and digital tools for engineers.
The store is just one of several ways the Zuno app will support engineers, with further updates planned later this year as the platform evolves into an indispensable tool for managing work more efficiently and unlocking new earning opportunities.
The launch of Zuno.store comes ahead of InstallerSHOW at the NEC, Birmingham this month, where Zuno will showcase the wider platform and its tools for engineers to installers and industry partners.
