Huawei brings FusionSolar to InstallerSHOW to help Smart PV uptake

Huawei’s FusionSolar is firmly established as a leading smart solar energy solution, with a comprehensive range of innovative products and services for residential, commercial and utility-scale applications.

Central to the FusionSolar offering is its Smart PV Management System, which integrates advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing to optimise energy generation, reduce operational costs and enhance system reliability.

It doesn’t end there though – the FusionSolar portfolio includes high-efficiency inverters, smart energy controllers and energy storage systems that are designed to maximise the performance and efficiency of solar power installations. These components work seamlessly together, enabling the real-time monitoring and intelligent management of energy production and consumption.

FusionSolar’s AI-driven analytics and predictive maintenance capabilities help identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of solar systems. Additionally, the user-friendly FusionSolar app provides homeowners and businesses with easy access to system data, allowing them to monitor energy output, track savings and manage energy use remotely.

Huawei used InstallerSHOW 2024 as an opportunity to speak directly to renewable energy installers about the latest additions to the FusionSolar range, and how the company continues to deliver reliable, efficient and intelligent energy solutions that support the global transition to renewable energy. The Huawei FusionSolar Installer Day featured presentations from senior company figures including Fan Hu, FusionSolar’s vice president of sales, as well as partner case studies.

FusionSolar announced a new partnership with Octopus Energy, which will combine the former’s cutting-edge technology with the latter’s expertise in renewable energy provision. The partnership seeks to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of solar power systems, promoting a sustainable energy future. Robert Goss of Solar for Schools also explained the part FusionSolar is playing in helping the education sector to decarbonise with solar energy.

Huawei Value Added Partner and Certified Service Partner, SKE, supplies 16 countries in Europe including the UK with smart solar products from Huawei FusionSolar. It has taken over all sales activities and the UK’s chief executive officer, Leo Powell, explained how SKE can also offer installers sales, logistics, training, certification and technical support.

Presenters offered insight into the FusionSolar residential storage range, with new products that boast higher capacity, improved performance and a longer warranty. The new SUN2000 smart string inverters, an overview of a new

200kWh energy storage system and the latest range of residential and commercial inverters with Energy Networks Association (ENA) certification were all profiled. The event concluded with a tour of Huawei’s FusionSolar InstallerSHOW stand, where all the newly launched products were on display.
