Installer launches InstallerFESTIVAL – the virtual industry gathering

As we adjust to virtual reality, Installer has come up with an exciting new idea that in some small way makes up for the postponement of Installer2020 in May.
While the industry won’t be able to come together in person until Installer2020 in December, Installer is launching InstallerFESTIVAL – a virtual gathering from 11-22 May.

“Installers and manufacturers can come together from the comfort of their laptops or smart devices – and enjoy a varied online programme,” said Installer Managing Director Eoin McManus
“We’re taking some of the great things that make the Installer show so popular and putting them online. InstallerFESTIVAL, the virtual industry gathering will feature live product demos, debates, virtual training sessions, round-tables and product launches over the two-week period.”
Installers will be able to participate remotely from their keyboard, or even join the festival online via video-conferencing. All content will be streamed live, and available on demand on the website.
InstallerFESTIVAL is supported by some of the industry’s biggest names – Vaillant, ADEY, Drayton, Wilo, Wolseley, Homeserve, Danfoss, Mira, Google Nest, Armstrong, Wavin, IMI, Impey, the HI Awards and Rinnai.
“Our manufacturing partners think this is a great way for the industry to come together,” said Installer Head of Content Joe Sharpe.
“They’re working with us to come up with interesting ways to use InstallerFESTIVAL to connect with installers. And it’s not all business either, we’re also working on lots of ‘fun stuff’’ as well – freebies, competitions, challenges – and even a virtual pub.”
InstallerFESTIVAL is supported by leading trade bodies such as APHC, CIPHE, CORGI and the BMF, and is part of Installer’s expanding digital capability which aims to re-imagine how our industry communicates and does business.
Join us online for InstallerFESTIVAL from 11-22 May – your invitation to register is coming soon.
