Intamix TMV passes two millionth sale

Intatec has recently sold the two millionth unit of one of its mixing valves.

The Intamix TMV, was one of the launch products when the company was founded in 2002 and delivers safe, blended hot water to taps.

Intamix has independently tested and TMV3 approved by NSF under the requirements of The Department of Health (DoH) Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Supplement, Performance specification D 08: thermostatic mixing valves (healthcare premises) as well as being WRAS approved.

The Intamix has also been tested, approved and certified under the NSF TMV2 scheme as complying with: BS EN 1111:2017 and BS EN 1287:2017 Thermostatic Mixing Valves, typically required for domestic installations.

Stuart Gizzi, MD, said: “The longevity and continued popularity of Intamix is a testament to our team’s adaptability and attention to detail.

“We have consistently adapted Intamix to the demands of the market, constantly listening to our customer base and building on what was already a compliant, cost-effective and user friendly product.

“Reaching two million sales is a great milestone to achieve, we are proud that so many people have trusted and are benefitting from our commitment to providing safe, high-quality products.”

Back in 2011, Intatec ran a ‘Golden Intamix’ competition to find the buyer of the one millionth, placing a gold version of the product into circulation, with London based plumber Martyn Kern of MK plumbing claiming an iPad as a prize.
