Join the thousands of installers who are part of Worcester Bosch’s ‘Safe in Your Home Installer Commitment’

Since launching in early June, thousands of installers across the UK have already signed up for free to the ‘Safe in Your Home Installer Commitment’ – the new initiative from leading UK boiler manufacturer Worcester Bosch.
The Commitment is a safety pledge where installers can sign up and receive a pack of digital tools to help them undertake work in customers’ homes safely and securely.
Matthew Brome, from Leicester-based Brome Gas Heating and Plumbing Services, was one of the first installers to sign up to the initiative. He said:
“With the social distancing that’s in place, it’s good to show customers our checklist so they are aware of what I’m about to do. Precautions we take start from a phone call with a series of questions, before a home visit with the appropriate safety equipment and measures.
“Safety is always a priority and it’s more important now than ever to maintain the safety and wellbeing of customers and engineers.”
Those who sign-up to the Commitment will receive:
– Digital stamp for use on social pages and website, a clear indicator to show they have signed up to the initiative
– An email checklist for customers and installer to fill out pre-visit
– Guidance documents for installers and homeowners, an essential reminder of the precautions to follow
– Email footers, to work as a signature in customer comms
The first 5,000 to sign up will also be sent a physical pack that includes a removable van vinyl of the Installer Commitment logo plus an ‘Installer at work’ sign for display in company vehicles during call outs.
The new tools have been designed by Worcester Bosch to help installers demonstrate that safety is the main focus for any visit, particularly during these uncertain times.
