With the project aiding independence for people with severe disabilities, it was essential that all fittings and fixtures were multi-generational and reliable. Specialising in delivering high-quality housing, care and support for disabled people of varying ages, Helenvale is the latest work by the housing association. Working in partnership with Blantyre Park Services (BPS), accessibility was at the forefront of the design and all rooms needed systems in place to cater to assisted living. With this in mind, Triton’s Omnicare Design Thermostatic Shower was specified, thanks to its ability to regulate temperature and offer low resistance control to make adjustments easy. To facilitate users with impaired sight, the product features audible feedback, as well as a tactile temperature dial with soft grey tones for intuitive usability. This ensures that occupants are protected while using the unit, making it ideal for vulnerable users. The Omnicare range caters to different users with the inclusion of controls that allow a maximum temperature to be set to ensure a comfortable and safe experience. A soft press start/stop button and looped lever handle is also included to enable low resistance operation, as well as coming with the reassurance of BEAB Approval and the BEAB Care mark. In addition to the benefits to residents, Triton’s shower system is a cost-effective and easy-to-install choice. David Campbell, Project Manager at BPS, said: “Access to showering facilities that not only look aesthetically pleasing, but operate safely too, is a basic necessity which can be made possible through the careful selection of products. Our experience with Triton’s range of units designed specifically for those who require additional assistance helped us to select a product perfectly suited to this project. “Working with an established name in the industry gives all parties involved peace of mind that the devices used are of a high standard and will cater to all end-users. All of this whilst remaining simple to install, removing any potential issues or additional costs on the job.” Stuart Lane, Trade Sales Director at Triton, said: “At Triton we understand the importance of high-quality, reliable solutions. With this in mind, we are committed to providing both specifiers and installers with the ideal system to suit their project, whilst supporting them throughout the process. To facilitate this, our call centre has 25 fully trained Technical Operatives with an average of 12 years’ experience, enabling us to help with any queries, no matter how complex. “In addition to this, our field team of engineers are available for constant service support, as well as our Business Development Managers who are also on hand to assist with any specification requirements to make specifying easier.” For more information on the Omnicare range from Triton Showers, visit https://www.tritonshowers.co.uk/showers-taps/care-showers Share ! tweet
