The revamped Solutions portal allows users to focus on the testing and management of water quality within a heating and hot water system, which in turn, can reduce the chances of breakdowns associated with poor quality water. With water testing on new and replacement boiler installations able to reduce the likelihood of faults by as much as 83%, the revamped portal enables landlords to efficiently manage their installations and help reduce maintenance costs. Dirty system water can be a potentially costly and inconvenient issue for social landlords and their tenants. Testing the quality of the system water can help significantly as it will identify poor water quality, which can be effectively treated before it causes any problems for the tenant and landlord. New to the Solutions portal is a knowledge bank containing a fault code finding tool, as well as access to Installation, Servicing, User and Spare parts manuals. Furthermore landlords and contractors will be able to comply with the new Energy Labelling Directive through an easy to use, online labelling tool available through the portal. Providing one place for asset admin, users can view the status of their projects and properties at a glance via the dashboard to see when a system has been tested and whether it passed or failed – the results of which are provided through Vaillant’s water treatment partners. To streamline the process, users can also order water test kits directly through the portal. The first two kits are provided free of charge by Vaillant for each property registered to the portal. The enhanced Solutions portal makes the process of water testing effortless, and enables social landlords to manage and oversee the work in their properties. Contractors can also use the portal to provide reassurance on the quality of their work and demonstrate how they are delivering best working practice.
