Chimney company launches mobile app to aid installers

Schiedel Chimney Systems, has announced the launch of a new free mobile app. The Schiedel Installation Assistant App, is designed to provide a quick and straightforward reference for installers.
The comprehensive app has been developed to aid installers of its Eco ICID, ICS and Prima Smooth range of products. Encompassed within the app is an easy-to-use system for downloading full product information and installation instructions and also highlight the safety critical areas where the chimney penetrates floors ceilings, roofs and walls.
David Wright, Schiedel Systems Marketing Manager explains “In designing the app, we included video footage right through from start to finish of the installation process. We have also included ‘answers to frequently asked questions’ for each stage of the fitting process in line with building regulations.”
Built, using a mobile first methodology, the app will be compatible with most smartphones, tablets and desktop technology and is available to download free via the company’s website.
The revolution that smartphone applications have brought about dictates that businesses must move with the times and give their customers what they want.  Having a readily downloadable app available for our installers helps them to work more quickly and efficiently and gives them easy access to for all the installation advice that they might need.
