Honeywell is reminding installers that the full ST9000 and CM900 heating control ranges are now available on the ‘Installer Assistant’ app, part of an on-going programme to help the installer add value for their customers.
Designed to aid the installer when discussing with the homeowner how they would like their heating controls set-up, the app can also provide an electronic record of the installer settings and calculate the next service dates due for that particular job, for use by both the installer and the homeowner.
The app content has been extended and now includes the new full ST9000 and CM900 ranges along with Honeywell’s range of Sundial RF2 wireless heating control packs.
The app helps the installer guide customers through decisions on how to set up their controls and then translate the selections into information about the actual parameters to set within the timers and/or thermostats, making set up easier and quicker. A record of these settings can then be emailed to both the installer and the customer as proof of what has been set up.
Once the set-up is complete, the installer can decide on the number of days before the next service is due on the ST9000 range of timers, and Sundial RF2 heating control packs. The app then calculates the actual date of the next service and will email a copy of the service reminder to the installer. This allows the opportunity for repeat business for the installer and makes it easier for them to set up electronic reminders to contact their customers about other services.
