Anticipation is building ahead of the first competitive glimpse of Gloucester Rugby’s brand new shirts for the 2013-14 season, sponsored by ADEY Professional Heating Solutions, the award-winning manufacturers of the market leading MagnaClean® technology.
When the players take to the field on Thursday (1 August) for the first round of the JP Morgan Asset Management Premiership Rugby 7s Series, as the Club’s proud new main sponsor, ADEY is hoping the shirts will give the team an extra edge.
With Kingsholm kicking off the tournament, which will see all 12 Premiership clubs compete in regional rounds ahead of the final at Bath’s Recreation Ground on Friday 9 August, it’s a great opportunity for ADEY to get its three year association with Gloucester off to a flying start.
Haimish Mead, Marketing Director at ADEY, comments: “Everybody here is incredibly excited about the prospect of seeing Gloucester take to the field at Kingsholm wearing the ADEY shirts for the first time in a competitive encounter. The JP Morgan 7s will hopefully kick-off our association with the Cherry and Whites with some fantastic rugby and a great occasion.
“Gloucester’s style of rugby is always exciting to watch and this event has established itself in recent seasons with sevens appealing to a growing audience. A lot of ADEY’s staff, family and friends will be coming to Kingsholm for the first time to sample the atmosphere and I’m sure they’ll be hooked. It’s a perfect introduction to Kingsholm and Gloucester Rugby and I’ve no doubt they’ll enjoy it and be back for more.”
With what looks to be an extremely talented young squad coached by former England Sevens legend Rob Thirlby, and games against all Gloucester’s local rivals, it’s gearing up to be a thrilling opener.
