Quinn’s Hi Lo Radiator has the formula for 25% more heat

Quinn Radiators has rebranded its Round Top and Compact models as the Hi Lo range, to reflect the pioneering technology used to make them the most efficient panel radiators on the market, generating 25% more heat than similar models.
The company has spent several years investing in innovative design and manufacturing techniques to create a new generation of panel radiators using its own HqO technology, which uses water efficiently to maximise heat output for less cost.  Quinn’s Round Top and Compact radiators incorporate all aspects of the HqO technology and have been rebranded as the Hi Lo to reflect the fact they are the most efficient panel radiators on the market, with the highest heat output and lowest water content.
Isabel Donovan, panel product manager at Quinn Radiators, explains: “As we see increasing use of low temperature heating systems, such as condensing boilers and renewables, high output, low water content radiators need to be used to maximise heating efficiency.  A radiator that uses less water at a lower temperature and less boiler energy means a more efficient heating system all round.
“That’s why we have made a multi-million pound investment in R&D at our UK manufacturing site in Newport to create the most efficient panel radiators using our HqO technology.  The rebranding of our existing Round Top and Compact radiators as the Hi Lo range helps customers understand that they are buying the product with the highest output and lowest water content on the market, which is future-proofed to work perfectly with alternative energy sources.”
The Hi Lo radiators have a 25mm water channel which means it contains up to 31% less water on average than similar products, so less energy is needed to heat them up.  The smaller water channels mean that more metal is in contact with the water, so they heat up more quickly. In fact, Hi Lo radiators have up to 17% more surface area in direct contact with the water, increasing the heat that is felt when the radiator warms up.
Radiators rely on convection heat to get the room to the right temperature and having small water channels means the Hi Lo radiators not only heat up more quickly but also have more convection fins to circulate the air.  Quinn also uses state of the art welding technology to optimise the fin position. Unlike less advanced radiators, the convection fins are welded directly onto the water channels, rather than in between them.  As a result, the heat is conducted directly and immediately from the water to the fin, boosting output and responsiveness.
Isabel Donovan adds: “By combining innovative design features, we’ve been able to create radiators which respond more quickly, use less energy, drive down fuel bills and carbon emissions and which still emit up to 25% more heat than other like for like radiators.
There are two radiators in the Hi Lo range, the Hi Lo Round Top and the Hi Lo Compact; both are available for order.  For more information or to request a copy of the new Quinn Panel brochure, visit www.quinn-radiators.com
