The instantly recognisable traditional RIOpanel range with its attractive ribbed profile offers unrivalled flexibility. If required, RIOpanel can be supplied with connections other than standard 1/2″ ABCD tappings, and with built-in valve. RIOpanel can be tailor made to customers’ angled or curved specifications. Due to the Rio ‘Quick Stock’ programme many sizes are available for next day delivery.
The RIOpanel Compact is available in the same heights and lengths as the RIOpanel but with the additional benefits of 2mm steel profiled side panels and top grilles. RIOpanel Compact complies with current and future demands for high efficiency and design, and complements the traditional range.
A Scandinavian design classic, RIOpanel Plan’s plain front makes this radiator a timeless and elegant heating choice. The large selection of units, including types 21, 22 and 33, can be combined with integral RIOpanel ETS valve systems, to make a compact integral heating element.
RIOpanel Futura is a real designer classic created by Danish industrial designer Lars Kjærulff. It is a low convector unit with has no visible pipework that fits harmoniously into both new and older buildings. RIOpanel Futura is available in several types, lengths and heights, and is delivered in a standard white finish with a grey grille and legs.
RIOpanel Convectors – high output on small dimensions – are ideal where there is demand for high heating performance but where space is limited. RIOpanel Convectors can be used as the only heating source in the room, but are often combined with standard RIO panel radiators. The convector is ideal for positioning by large windows, close under ceilings or in heating channels in floors where space is limited.
RIOpanel Integra Integrated floor convector with inox steel casing is available in a wide selection of sizes and types (and optional 12V tangential blower). Trench heaters do not act as a full area heating system and are commonly used to combat downdraught from large glazed areas and other exposed areas such as French doors – car showrooms and large foyers are a prime example of where Integra’s benefits would be felt. Stainless steel is used for the convector trough with copper and aluminium for the heat exchanger.
RIO also markets a low surface temperature (LST) radiator, the Aegis LST, designed to NHS guidelines to make it suitable for public buildings where radiators with high surface temperatures could pose a risk to health and safety. Other safety features include rounded corners, contoured front and robust side panels and a curved top edge to prevent items such as food or drinks being placed on it.
All RIOpanel radiators are pressure tested to 13 BAR, with a maximum working pressure of 10 BAR and each individual radiator is supplied complete with brackets, air vents and plugs, and in fully recyclable packaging.
RIOpanel radiators are powder coated in white RAL 9010 as standard, but can also be supplied in other RAL colours or anti-bacterial paint (anti-MRSA finish) for hospitals and care homes.
Several models can be angled or curved, and all models are supplied with feet or special tapping positions. In addition to the numerous standard lengths, RIOpanel can also be delivered in bespoke lengths of 33.3mm increments.
The same commitment to quality demanded of the exterior of the products is also stringently applied to internal components and fixings that are not normally seen by the consumer. Each radiator is subject to ISO 9001 quality control and is equipped with a 10 year Rio warranty.
