Two plumbers have struck gold (and chrome!) at the trade counter, becoming two more winners in Talon’s Golden Clip Giveaway after discovering winning clips hidden inside bags of Talon’s Standard Hinged Clips.
Gareth from City Plumbing in Folkestone, Kent, made an unexpected discovery on opening a bag at the merchant counter. It revealed a chrome winning clip and with it a Makita radio along with a selection of Talon goodies. A second winning clip surfaced at Plumbase in Peterborough, where installer Patrick uncovered a golden prize of his own and walked away with a Velocity Pro Gear tool bag together with Talon merchandise.
Both wins are part of Talon’s Golden Clip promotion, which sees special gold and chrome clips hidden inside selected bags of the company’s popular Standard Hinged Clips. Installers who discover one of the clips can claim prizes including an Apple iPad 11-inch, Velocity Pro Gear Bag, Makita Bluetooth Speakers and KNIPEX Cobra Water Pump Pliers Sets.
The promotion has been designed to support merchants by hiding prizes inside everyday products, adding a bit of excitement to routine purchases while encouraging footfall and engagement in store. The Golden Clip campaign centres on Talon’s well-known Standard Hinged Clips, widely used by plumbers and heating engineers for quick and secure pipe fixing.
Gareth and Patrick aren’t the first winners to be found – there have been several already and more prizes are still waiting to be discovered across the country.
