Manufacturer of heating and hot water technologies, Worcester, Bosch Group has added a new and improved air to air heat pump to its established Greensource range.
The new 6kW air to air Greensource heat pump has been introduced to offer installers a domestic heating and cooling solution for a variety of property types and sizes. The latest addition has also been designed to complement existing gas, oil and renewable hot water systems by providing a cost-effective source of healthy air for the home.
Worcester’s newest heat pump features the latest inverter technology to enhance efficiency levels and running costs. The optimised outdoor unit featuring a tri-blade fan is designed to improve airflow and hosts an internal electric heater to offer a defrost function if required.
Thanks to the inclusion of Plasmacluster Ion technology, the new Greensource air to air unit offers the homeowner premium air filtration. By emitting Plasmacluster Ions into the property’s atmosphere, the Greensource heat pump quickly breaks down unwanted particles and impurities such as dust and cigarette smoke, into harmless substances. This technology also removes airborne viruses and bacteria within just three hours of operation, helping occupants benefit from a clean and healthy living environment.
The addition of an internal chill protection function also safeguards residents against freezing temperatures within their property at the touch of a button.
With a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (SCOP) of 3.8, Worcester’s new and improved air to air heat pump is A-rated and maintains a high level of energy efficiency all year round. These positive efficiency credentials mean that the product is also eligible for the Green Deal, giving customers access to funding to support their installation.
