This September, Installer’s new multi-media event trailer will travel the length and breadth of the UK to deliver its message to hundreds of installers across the UK.
InstallerON-SITE has been developed in association with Plumb Center and is sponsored by leading manufacturers from the pipes, valves and fittings category (PVF) – namely JG Speedfit, Wavin, Geberit, Polypipe and Pegler Yorkshire.
Installers recognise the importance of efficiency and the impact it continues to have on their business, but they are busy people – so Installer has worked closely with its sponsorship partners to create a presentation that will inform, engage and inspire installers to consider new options and approaches that could result in longer term business efficiencies and financial benefits.
The planned tour will include approximately 80 event days and will aim to visit each Plumb Center network to ensure that it will be easily accessible for any attendee. Each event day will offer 2-3 individual sessions for up to 15 installers.
Lasting no more than an hour and using a combination of pre-recorded video modules, live presentations and interactive audio response technology, installers need only invest a short period of their busy day to get a heads-up on the latest developments in the parts, valves and fittings category.
Installer Managing Director, Eoin McManus, sees this new roadshow as the ideal opportunity for plumbers and heating engineers to not only gain working methods and products but also to forge stronger links with both branch staff and the local sales teams of the sponsors.
“A principle objective for the tour is to facilitate networking opportunities for our readers with the event’s sponsors at a local level. By actively engaging with the various manufacturers involved, attendees will be able to get a better insight into the products themselves and how they can help them work more efficiently and effectively.
“By attending the ON-SITE sessions, installers will not only invest a bit of time in their own business development but also in the continued evolution of the brands they work with.”
For installers who attend, the event won’t end at the close of a session. A specially-created website will host additional downloadable content from all of the sponsors – as well as the talks, content and information from other sessions – to ensure that InstallerON-SITE becomes an essential resource for plumbers and heating engineers who are looking to develop their businesses.
