Top Talks & Sessions from InstallerFESTIVAL

Installer has hosted two InstallerFESTIVALS, plus NetZeroFESTIVAL so far in 2020 and we’ve rounded up some more sessions that feature familiar installer faces.

There’s been a wide range of sessions including product launches, training sessions, virtual pub quizzes, competitions, installation demos, interviews, roundtable discussions and more.

But what really makes these virtual get togethers great is the involvement we have from plumbing, heating and renewables engineers, and tradespeople for whom these sessions are designed.

We’ve had some great guest appearances across the Festivals, with top advice, reviews and banter from installers to installers.

PlumberParts unboxes the new Stuart Turner Showermate ECO

Watch as James Lawrence takes you through an unboxing and installation of the product, whilst explaining the differences between Positive and Negative head, and which products you need to install for each. He then finishes off proceedings with an obligatory drenching once he’s cured the poor pressure in his shower.

Stuart Turner has also built a handy app which is designed to help size and select the right product for the job based on some simple questions about the system.  Stick around at the end of the video for a full run down on how it works and where to get it

Funny plumbing stories with Wavin Hep2O

Hosted at the first InstallerFESTIVAL, which took place during lockdown, Hep2O wanted to remind installers of reasons to love their jobs.

Wavin Hep2O got some plumbers together at the pub (before lockdown, obviously) to discuss some of the best – and worst – things about the job.

They were joined by Peter Booth, Zac Squires, Todd Glister, Heather Clark and Wayne Bettess as they chat through their funny anecdotes from over the years.
