Scouting Report Christmas period

Ho, ho, ho. It’s that time of the year again when we all fill up on turkey and booze, and the football games come thick and fast.
It’s also the time when InstallerLEAGUE players can really earn some points, if they remember to set their lineup.
So with Christmas less than a week away, who should you being transferring in?
GK – David de Gea – £5.6m
It’s weird that De Gea hasn’t featured in the Scouting Report so far this season, but United’s leaky defence wasn’t the best early on.
Now the Reds have got themselves winning again, and the young Spaniard is a big part of their success.
He had a stormer against Liverpool on the weekend and is looking top class between the sticks.
If United carry on their good run over Christmas, he could notch some big points.
Def – Per Mertesacker – £6.0m
Arsenal are having a torrid time with injuries at the minute, and the big German is pretty much their only fit centre back.
Despite this, you know the gooners are going to pick up some more wins, so it could be worth investing in Mertesacker.
He’s solid, he’s guaranteed a start, and he pops up with the odd goal, and that’s what we want from a defender.
Hazard webMid – Eden Hazard – £10.6m
InstallerLEAGUE players might have a bit of a dilemma on their hands when it comes to their midfield. Big scorers Di María and Ramsey are injured, so who can come in and guarantee points?
He might cost a lot, but Hazard definitely fits the bill. He’s got 25 in his last three games and can contribute both goals and assists; can you afford not to have him in?
For – Harry Kane- £5.1m
Spurs fans have been crying out for Kane to be starting in the Premier League, thanks to his form in Europe.
He had a very memorable game against Asteras Tripoli when he scored his first professional hat-trick, and then had to go in goal after Lloris got injured.
He did concede when he fluffed a catch from a free kick, but Tottenham still won 5-1.
With Spurs lacking firepower, Kane could add some much-needed goals – good for InstallerLEAGUE managers.
Merry Christmas
That’s it from us this year, enjoy Christmas and we’ll see you in 2015.
