Specflue to host APHC Green Deal seminar

On 5th June the Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors Ltd. is to hold one of its popular Green Deal seminars at the Specflue Renewables Training Centre in Suffolk, covering the Green Deal, Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and changes to Competent Person Schemes (CPS) from the installer perspective.
The free seminars have proven to be increasingly popular, with installers requesting additional venues and dates to be added to the current programme. A new course has also been introduced for 2013 that covers the development of a Quality Management System (QMS), and how to implement the business changes that are needed to be approved as a Green Deal Installer.
Graeme Dryden, APHC Technical Services Manager said: “We have received a number of requests to hold our Green Deal seminars at different venues around the country. Our supplier partners Specflue offered the use of their renewables training facility in Suffolk helping us to address an area of the country, that up to now we have not been able to cover.  In addition to the seminars the new QMS course will be offered and should help provide the additional support that some installers may need to fulfil their Green Deal application.”
The seminars remain free of charge to existing members and non members – those wanting to take part in the QMS course will be charged a course fee. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
