As one of only 30 female OFTEC registered technicians across the UK and Ireland, Emily will bring a fantastic insight into what appealed to her about a career in heating and plumbing.  

For any business contemplating their long term plans and considering diversifying into renewables, there will be an opportunity to pick up some tips on how to get started in the sector. Training is a key factor in registering with schemes like OFTEC and MCS, and the panel will discuss whether current training courses meet the needs of heating businesses who are embracing renewable technologies.  Plus, Ian Rippin from MCS will provide guidance on registering with MCS and what they are doing as an organisation to make the scheme more accessible to smaller heating businesses.
