Brother has launched its new PT-E720BT device, which is designed to help electricians create professional, regulation ready labels from their phone, tablet or laptop. Controlled entirely via the Brother Pro Label Tool app or P-touch Editor software, this new keyboard free model offers an alternative to the company’s industrial handheld label printers.
Users can control the PT-E720BT through the app to quickly select editable industry and wiring regulations templates, adjust label settings such as length, margins and orientation, and batch print sequential labels. Labels can also be personalised with company logos, QR codes and contact details, and be amended or reprinted on the spot via a simple Bluetooth connection.
The Brother PT-E720BT is designed for electricians to deliver fast, compliant labelling from a smart device or laptop. On-site deadlines are tight and compliance is essential, so the new printer offers flexibility to prepare labels in advance or update them on-site. The device prints labels up to 24mm wide and features an auto-cutter for quick, accurate custom length labels. It’s suitable for a range of electrical applications including warning notices, consumer units, PAT tests, solar PV and heat pump installations.
Louise Unsworth, Head of Labelling Business Solutions at Brother UK, said:
“We’ve spent years listening to electricians at trade shows and on-site visits, learning what they need from professional labelling equipment. The PT-E720BT reflects what we’ve heard and is designed for professionals who take pride in their work and want tools that support their standards.”
