Plumbers across the UK will soon witness, first-hand, the future of domestic plumbing. Pegler Yorkshire is all set for a 12 month road trip with a specially created interactive road show that will allow specifiers and installers to discover the latest metal push-fit system solutions for domestic and commercial plumbing projects.
“We think the best way to build trust in a product is to make sure the people ‘on the front-line’ are aware of the latest plumbing innovations by providing hands-on experience. This unique road show will enable installers, specifiers and architects to see first-hand the many benefits of metal push-fit systems and fittings. We want our visitors to test themselves against Tectite, see its strength, witness its pressure capabilities and discover how effective it can be in reducing total project costs,” said Phill Jackson Business Development and Marketing Director for Pegler Yorkshire.
The Tectite Team will be travelling the length and breadth of the UK to answer questions, provide information and encourage visitors to test their skills with Tectite via the ‘Tectite Challenge’. The challenge demonstrates the strength, speed and pressure capabilities of the product as well as the installer!
The strongest contenders and fastest challengers will be placed on a leader board system which will be updated daily. During 2013, over £5000 in vouchers and prizes will be given away, with weekly winners of the speed and strength tests awarded £50 each in high street vouchers. The leader board will also be placed on Pegler Yorkshire’s Facebook page whereby visitors can see if their score is being challenged, at the end of the month the top challenger on both tests will be given an additional prize!

We will demonstrate the obvious benefits of push-fit technology against traditional jointing methods, and show how these highly engineered products can save time, money and cut down on legislative procedures such as hot works permits.
